No ISD news to report at this time because I am being distracted by the many programs I have started playing with lately as mentioned to right under Cool Website Stuff.

eLearning News

I have recently started working with eLearning authoring software. Specifically, I am using Adobe Captivate 9. I have yet to design a lesson. Instead I have been experimenting with many of the program’s features, such as screen capture, text-to- speech, mulit-state objects, etc. In other words, I am try to familiarize myself with the more complex aspects of the program before doing anything else. This will aid in the development of my first lesson. Speaking of which, my first lesson will probably be on the Adult Learner and Andragogy. Feel free to check out my practice project below. Bear in mind this is a video demonstration of what would normally involve student interactions.

Cool Website Stuff

I have no cool website stuff at this point because I have been spending my time working with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Visio, and Movavi Video Suite. Over the course of the next year, in addition to improving my skills with Captivate and Movavi Video Suite, I plan to improve my website developing skills using Xara Web Designer and Adobe Muse. I also plan to get proficient at Microsoft Visio and maybe Microsoft Project. In the meantime, I will post practice videos to my YouTube page.
